Preparation
for school
Considering
the fact that we all so longed for a break from our studies due to the
frustration we might have experienced in the previous semester😳, at that point
any amount of semester break is welcome even just two weeks. Well most
universities in south west Nigeria generously bless their students with over
one month of session break not to mention the strike periods💔.
We tend to invest out the time in many things such as
learning a trade, hanging out with our childhood friends (which I do a lot),
dedicating our time to spiritual activities but generally resting😂. Then gbam!!!😒
The timetable is out though it’s still preliminary timetable we make calls to
all our friends, they are all like it’s a joke and we make about it😏. Nobody is
in school, you think, then the next thing you hear is lecturer is in class and
you are like I have to be in school soonest😱. Then you plan to prepare
physically by getting foodstuffs, getting accommodation and traveling down to
school.
Basically,
we all forget to prepare ourselves mentally😣. The result of this is that the
first couple of weeks is wasted trying to figure and balance your way of
thinking (which might not be reading inclined) and school studying together.
🙆Here
are ways to update yourself mentally:
·
Know your timetable.
·
Be familiar with your course codes and titles, memorize
their units.
·
All prior activities to resumption should be completely
laid aside till you get your balance.
·
Let accommodation be settled! Carefully decide who to live
with.
·
Be financially prepared.
Wish
U a hitch-free semester😚.
